In the past two years, developers from around the world have contributed to the Android Market to go to place for more than 100,000 applications, games and widgets.
Previously, you could have access to Android Market, right on your device, but today we've created the Android Market, which lets you browse and search for the right of excellent applications from the web browser.
The website makes it easy to discover new consumer applications with a bigger, brighter interface. You can also send applications directly on your Android device with just a few clicks no wiring required. We have incorporated new social networking features as well. You can share applications with friends on Twitter. And you can read and write directly to notifications app from the Android Market or Internet device.
And what about all those applications that have already purchased and downloaded? Log into the site using your Google account and click "Market My Account" to view all the applications you've purchased or downloaded. It makes managing all your applications easy.
The Android Market is officially launched today at an event at Google headquarters, where we present a honeycomb (Android 3.0), our latest Android built from scratch for the tablets. Honeycomb has a completely redesigned user interface, with more reports and interactive widgets, better multitasking, and the latest Google services and mobile optimized for tablets.
