Allow others access to your Gmail account with Gmail Delegation

Gmail Delegation

Good news for Gmail users who use multiple Gmail accounts. Gmail just enabled “Gmail delegation” which allows users to share access to a Gmail account.

If you have already experienced the pain of having to log in and out of Gmail accounts separate, new Gmail “Gmail delegation” will feature a welcome addition to your routine e-mail. Now you can give my personal account to access your Gmail account and others use it. This is particularly useful for families who use a shared email account.

Google has offered the delegation an e-mail to Google Apps for some time, it was a blessing, and that managers want to have access to consultants and to respond to e-mail on their behalf. Now all Gmail users. You can log into another account, click the Settings link at the top right corner of Gmail. It is the Account’s tab; you’ll see a new section where you can “Grant Account”.
