HP

Since HP bought the Palm has been a lot of people were worried about the destiny of his palm and WebOS. Now it has been for some time because there was PalmOS major update, people thought that WebOS is condemned. Well, Jon Rubinstein, Palm's CEO has left all fears about the future of the WebOS. In a recent interview with Fortune, said that the WebOS 2.0 is all set to arrive by the end of 2010. No additional information about operating system already, but I think that proves to be a crucial point of departure for a WebOS, that despite the very capable OS is struggling to keep pace with androids and the world iOS4s.

In other news, HP, which now owns the Palm has thrown some information on its upcoming Windows 7 slate. Apparently, slate, once launched, would be available only to businesses and corporate clients. This is because HP now wants to project its WebOS based tablets, as the devices are suitable for the mainstream consumers
