Slimmest Full 3D HD(high definition) LED TV from Samsung in India

Samsung Electronics on Wednesday launched a high definition 3D television on the Indian market and said it plans to double its market volume of LCD TV panels this year.We are launching our flagship 3D 9000 Full HD LED TV in the Indian market today, Samsung India deputy director Ravinder Zutshi told reporters. The series has the world's thinnest HD 3D television on the Indian market, with 7.98 mm sleek built-in tuner, a premium touch screen remote with touch controls, integrated speakers in support and an auto-sliding touchpad. He also built in 3D technology processors self-conversion has the ability to automatically convert the 2D content in 3D. This function allows users to connect their  television with compatible mobile devices which allows them to share movies, photos and music on television. Series 9000 is available in 55-inch screen size is priced at Rs 4,40,000.



We plan to double our volume this year FPTV based on our line-up amplification of LCD and LED-TV and the launch of our 3D TV. We expect our FPTV contribute 40 per cent of our CTV total volumes this year, he said. We are targeting sales of 30,000 units 3D TV in 2010, he said and added that so far since its inception in the early years, had sold around 7000-8000 units. FPTV market was estimated at about three million this year that the LED market is approximately 3.5 to 4 lakh, Zutshi said.
